NADRA Fee Structure 2026 — All Identity Documents

Illustration showing the NADRA Fee Structure 2026 for CNIC, Smart CNIC, NICOP, POC, B-Form (CRC), Juvenile Card, and Family Registration Certificate (FRC) in Pakistan.

NADRA charges PKR 0 to PKR 2,500 for domestic identity documents and USD 20 to USD 300 for overseas documents, depending on the document type and processing speed. Every NADRA identity document inlcuding CNIC, Smart NIC, CRC (B-Form), FRC, NICOP, and POC is available in up to three processing categories: Normal (cheapest, longest), Urgent (mid-tier), and Executive (fastest, most expensive). A new first-time CNIC is free of charge. CRC/B-Form costs PKR 50 (Normal) or PKR 500 (Executive). Smart NICOP ranges from USD 20 to USD 75 depending on zone and priority. All Nadra fee below are verified against NADRA’s official fee schedule.

Note: The traditional CNIC (non-chip) has been phased out. All new applications receive a Smart NIC by default. The term “CNIC” in fee tables below refers to the older card type still held by some citizens for renewal or modification.

CNIC Fee Structure (Domestic — Traditional Card)

The traditional CNIC is the older identity card without a chip. NADRA still processes renewals, modifications, and duplicates for existing holders.

Urdu infographic showing the Traditional CNIC nadra fee structure in Pakistan for 2026, including charges for new CNIC issuance, renewal, modification, and duplicate card with normal, urgent, and executive processing times.

First-time CNIC issuance is free of charge.

Processing timelines begin after fee payment is confirmed, not at the time of application submission.

Smart NIC Fee Structure (Domestic — Chip-Based Card)

The Smart NIC is the current standard identity card issued by NADRA. It contains an embedded microchip that stores biometric data and is issued to all Pakistani citizens aged 18 and above living within Pakistan.

Urdu infographic showing the Smart NIC fee structure in Pakistan for 2026, including fees for new Smart NIC, renewal, modification, and duplicate card with normal, urgent, and executive processing times.

Smart NIC processing takes longer than the older CNIC because chip-based cards require additional manufacturing steps.

Service TypeNormalUrgentExecutive
New Smart NICPKR 750 — 31 daysPKR 1,500 — 23 daysPKR 2,500 — 9 days
ModificationPKR 750 — 31 daysPKR 1,500 — 23 daysPKR 2,500 — 9 days

RenewalPKR 750 — 31 daysPKR 1,500 — 23 daysPKR 2,500 — 9 days

The fee is the same whether the Smart NIC is being issued for the first time, modified, duplicated, or renewed — the only variable is the processing speed.

When to choose which tier:

  • Normal is suitable when your current card is still valid and you are applying well in advance of expiry
  • Urgent is suitable when you need the card within three weeks for travel or banking purposes
  • Executive is suitable when you need the card within 10 days, typically for urgent passport, visa, or legal requirements

CRC / B-Form Fee Structure (Children Under 18)

The Child Registration Certificate (CRC), commonly called the B-Form, is issued to Pakistani children under 18 years of age. CRC does not have an Urgent processing category — only Normal and Executive are available.

FRC Fee Structure (Family Registration Certificate)

The Family Registration Certificate records the family composition of a registered citizen and is commonly required for visa applications, inheritance proceedings, and legal documentation.

FRC is available in Executive processing only. There is no Normal or Urgent category.
